ELECTRONIC PRESS KIT
Diveakssh Schae follows up the successful launch of his Rolling Stone featured debut album with his new single: The Sacred Art of Flying .
This time, he collaborates with British-origin songwriter & guitarist, Asher Reuven, to deliver a dreamy and cinematic soundtrack about a journey of flight through the Himalayas.
What's got people talking is that they sent 16 listeners flying while experiencing the song, and turned their footage into India's first flying music video.
As independent artists, we would truly appreciate any coverage in the form of press, radio, and playlist placement 🙏
DIVEAKSSH SCHAE
MUSIC MAKER | AUDIO STORYTELLER | NOMAD
Diveakssh Schae (or Divi for short) is an audio nomad - someone that makes music from beautiful places. He considers the jungles of India his roots, Australia his new home and the world as one giant instrument to explore.
Following the launch of his debut album ‘Moments of Clarity,’ Divi headed to Bir, Himachal Pradesh, India. Against a landscape of paragliders flying through the Himalayas, he discovered a creative community rich in music, poetry and ecstatic dance.
Magically, Asher - the guitarist who featured on his debut album in Australia - arrived in Bir. He bought a community of musical Australians with him. After three days of songwriting outdoors in Vigilatte Cafe - The Sacred Art of Flying was born.

ASHER REUVEN
SONGWRITER | GUITARIST | NOMAD
Asher Reuven comes from a studiocraft and songwriting background. His love of instrumental guitar composition lends itself to multiple genres, having worked on projects including neo-soul, folk, hard rock and cinematic arrangements.
Now residing in Melbourne, Asher teaches music and works on his own instrumental pieces, or collaborates with local producers. He met Divi when their paths crossed in Queensland, Australia. Over two days, he played guitar over his debut album in an outdoor studio against a view a waterfall - audio nomad style.
Little did he know that their paths were to cross again, in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, India - to create The Sacred Art of Flying.
THE SACRED ART OF FLYING
Release date: Nov 24th.
Following the launch of his debut album, ‘Moments of Clarity’ - Divi headed to Bir, Himachal Pradesh, India. Here, he went paragliding and felt his fear of heights melt into the ecstasy of flying through the Himalayas.
After magically reconnecting with his collaborator Asher Reuven - they set off to write a song about this experience. Perched in a community space for artists called Vigilatte Cafe, these audio nomads set up their outdoor studio & got to work.
Over 3 days of songwriting, and cameos by other Australian artists such as Adriana Bliss & Michael Diamond, they wrote “The Sacred Art of Flying.” The 7-minute song represents a journey of flight through the Himalayan foothills. Using a combination of live instruments and digital production, it carries a serene yet powerful tone.

OUR LISTENERS ARE TAKING OFF
We created a crowdfunding campaign where our audience could fund listeners in Bir to listen to the song while paragliding. This idea went viral!
In 4 weeks, we raised 80% of our $2,000 AUD goal from 55 supporters. That enabled us to send 16 listeners paragliding in Bir while grooving to our song mid-air.
When we looked at the footage, we knew that we simply had to turn it into a music video.
So here it is: India's first flying music video.
