ABOUT DIVI

Diveakssh Schae

MUSIC MAKER | AUDIO STORYTELLER | NOMAD

“Diveakssh Schae's debut album 'Moments of Clarity' is a sojourning story of melodies” - Rolling Stone

Known as Divi for short, he’s an audio nomad that makes music from beautiful places. He hails the jungles of India his roots, considers Australia his new home, and views the world as one giant instrument to explore. His mission is clear - to change the way we listen.

His fascination with audio software's capabilities to manipulate, reverse, and transform sounds led him to create music for film and theatre projects in Australia. However, his true passion for sound emerged when he discovered cymatics, the science of visualising sound.

He realised that the blueprints of nature’s designs are stored in the secrets of vibration.

Audio nomad

In 2020 - Diveakssh experienced a spiritual awakening that compelled him to unlock the music buried within him. Guided by this moment of clarity, he left behind city life, embracing a nomadic lifestyle that allowed him to create music while reconnecting with nature.

In 2021 - he converted an old campervan into a portable music studio & mobile home named “Spoons.” While travelling across Queensland, Australia, he wrote six true and personal stories. He then camped in creative isolation by the banks of Lake Tinaroo where he converted these into musical pieces.

In 2022 - he returned to his roots in India. He fit his music studio into a backpack named "Mukti" and set off to mix & master the songs against the diverse landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Auroville & Kodaikanal.

The culmination of these experiences resulted in Diveakssh's debut album, 'Moments of Clarity,' which launched in April 2023. This story-based album showcases his unique brand of cinematic electronica and offers audio stories from his travels, inviting you to perceive the world through his ears. Through the power of crowdfunding, his followup single ‘The Sacred Art of Flying’ grew into India's first flying music video.

Notably, his music has garnered support from Rolling StoneThe Indian Music Diaries, and worldwide radio and playlist recognition through SBS Chill Australia. Diveakssh also delivered a guest lecture at KM College, A.R. Rahman's school of music, in India.

Currently, Diveakssh is collaborating with Ari's Take Academy to sync his music in film and television. His upcoming artistic endeavour aims to create an immersive audio gallery experience that promises to revolutionise how audiences perceive the world through sound.
