Hey friends!
A couple of weeks ago, I shared the news that I’m pausing audio nomad life, to create a nomad village in the jungles of South India. Since then, my inbox has absolutely blown up as my vision seems to have resonated with dozens of you!
So what’s the vision?

I’m building a space where you come to create your best work. Where all the little things like wifi, food, accommodation and laundry are sorted so you can deeply relax. Where you can then explore your productivity & creativity from this feeling of deep relaxation. Where you have the option to socialise without the pressure of doing so.
What kind of people stay here?

You may identify as a nomad - or as someone wanting to experience an alternative lifestyle. You come with 'batteries loaded' - eager to create 'that thing' you've been working on. You're open to meeting like-minded people, but are equally content spending time lost in yourselves, immersed in nature.
The power of a village comes in its diversity. This space is for the classic digital nomad that’s working an online tech job as much as it’s for a filmmaker looking to edit their documentary in peace. Young nomads starting out may learn by interacting with nomadic families that view the world as a school of life.
Where is this sacred land?

Nestled in the jungles of Dandeli, Karnataka, South India is my family’s ancestral property. Historically a booming industrial factory campus, it now lies ready for its next chapter.

Through my newly nomadic eyes, I visualise its quaint bungalows housing people from across the world, the abandoned factory as a creative powerhouse, and the Kali River as the source of its shakti (power).
Dandeli is 1.5 hours from Hubli Airport, 3 hours from Goa, or 8 hours from Bangalore.
When do we launch?

I’m currently getting high-speed wifi activated within the campus. We have to lay the cables underground so the monkey’s don’t break them 🤦If you’ve ever tried to do anything in India - then you know that asking ‘when’ is like asking ‘how long is a piece of string?’ (or a piece of fiber optic cable 😂). After this is installed, we are ready to host our first cohort of nomads!
Why are we whispering?

Opening up our ancestral land is a delicate situation. Rather than creating a social media account for this project & attracting quantity - we’d rather whisper and attract quality. I’m lucky to have met legends like you on my travels that already resonate with my vision. So we want to start small and allow it to grow grassroots…just like the jungle it’s set in.

Oh wait - what’s it going to be called?
I’ve hidden the name of the nomad village within one of my ten newly launched artist playlists on my Spotify profile. Check them out here, and tell me if you get it?
It takes a village…
